Meet Traveler®

Traveler® IX, is a 14 year-old Andalusian gelding, who has been USC’s mascot since 2017.

In 2019, a 17 year-old Andalusian gelding joined the team as Traveler® X. Both horses take turns being Traveler®.

Appearances

In addition to home football games (and some away games, including two Cotton Bowls in Dallas and the 2005 Orange Bowl in Miami), Traveler® appears at other Trojan events.

He also appears at grade and high school events, charity functions, birthday and anniversary parties, weddings, and parades, including the world-famous Rose Parade numerous times.

Traveler® has been seen on screen and stage, at awards shows and film premieres, in commercials and magazines, and at racetracks.

Traveler® has been portrayed by champion Andalusian horses since 2003.
